Nike Shoe Shine

The Shoe Shine event, hosted by NIKE during the SIA Festival, showcased 14 pairs of Zoom Force One snowboarding boots modified by artists to embody a unique futuristic theme. The exhibit sought to form a visual as well as spatial relationship with the pieces while enhancing the artwork.

Collaboration with Benjamin Gray

  • Showcasing the latest in design from the Nike Snowboarding team while simultaneously throwing a party in the snowy mountains of Colorado.

  • For Nike, the ability efficiently install and remove the experience was paramount. The entire design was created using custom-designed and fabricated modular elements allowing for quick and easy installation.

  • It's simple - If you can use lasers… you use lasers.

Atmospheric Futurism

Custom laser projections brought Nike’s brand to life and expanded the high-security prototype atmosphere to the broader event space.

Brand Meets Experience

The exhibit was designed around forming three unique ways to engage the audience: inform, embrace and engage the viewer. Below the venue’s mezzanine, a projected animation provided the event title and sponsor information. Further, into the space a custom array of laser diodes formed a permeable laser tunnel that encapsulated a 36 ft long custom display table and pendant lights showcasing the artist’s work in an intimate setting.
